Are the camps based on the grade level completed by the child in the previous school year, or are they based on the child's grade level for the next school year?
Camps are based on the grade level the child will be attending in the next school year.
I got my child's registration acknowledgment and I think the grade level is wrong. It shows the grade level they are currently in, not their grade level for the next school year.
While the camps are based on the grade for the next school year, the computer program we use requests the current grade for the camper's profile. Therefore, the current, or just completed grade level, is what will be reflected on the registration acknowledgment. If you are still not certain, feel free to contact us.
My child and her friend want to come to camp together but are in different grade levels. Can they still attend the same camp or will they have to enroll in their own age group? (For example, one going into third grade (Explorer Camp) and the other going into Fourth Grade (Discovery Camp).)
If they are only one grade level apart, we can usually allow them to attend the same camp session. We would prefer to have the older child attend the younger session rather than the younger child attend the older session.
What are the drop-off and pick-up times?
Due to other camp program activities, please refrain from arriving before 3:30 p.m. Camp staff will not be available to supervise campers until registration begins. If you will be late, please give us a call.
On closing day, parents are invited to join us for brunch at 10:00 a.m. and the closing program at 11:00 a.m. Additional details will be available in your confirmation letter. Campers may be picked up after the closing program (about 11:30 a.m.) and must depart no later than 12:00 p.m. Due to other camp program activities, camp staff will not be available to supervise campers after 12:00 p.m.
